How Freight Shipment Works

What to Expect with Freight Delivery

Many of our larger grills, fire pits, and outdoor products ship via LTL freight carrier due to their size and weight.

Once your shipment arrives at the freight terminal in or near your city, the freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment. Your order will not be delivered without a confirmed appointment.

Please ensure the phone number provided at checkout is accurate and reachable. The freight carrier must be able to contact you to schedule delivery.

Delivery appointments are typically available Monday through Friday. Most carriers provide delivery windows such as:

  • 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Exact delivery times (for example, 9:00 AM) cannot be guaranteed. Delivery windows may vary slightly depending on the freight company.

Curbside Delivery Details

Freight shipments are delivered via lift-gate truck with a single delivery driver. Delivery is curbside or driveway only.

The driver is not responsible for:

  • Bringing the item inside
  • Unpacking
  • Assembly
  • Placement beyond curbside
Important: Keep All Packaging

Please retain all original packaging materials, including the pallet, until you have fully inspected and accepted your product.

If a return becomes necessary, the product must be repackaged in its original materials.

How to Inspect Your Freight Delivery

You are responsible for inspecting your shipment before signing the delivery receipt (Bill of Lading). Once the delivery is signed for without notation, the shipment is considered accepted in good condition.

To protect your order, please follow these steps:

  1. Verify item count. Confirm that all boxes and components listed on the delivery receipt are present. If anything is missing, note it clearly on the Bill of Lading and contact us within 48 hours.
  2. Inspect packaging condition. Examine the packaging for significant damage such as crushed corners, punctures, large tears, or visible structural damage. Minor cosmetic wear to outer packaging can occur during transit and is not uncommon.
  3. If damage is found. If you notice visible damage, take clear photos before signing, write “DAMAGED” clearly on the Bill of Lading, and refuse the shipment if damage appears severe. The freight carrier will return the item to the terminal, and We will coordinate a replacement.

If you are unsure whether to accept or refuse a shipment, contact us immediately: We can guide you through the process in real time.
