This Classic 40 is the fire-only Arteflame. It omits the cooktop and center grate so the seamless CORTEN bowl can serve as an open wood-burning centerpiece.

How the System Works

Live Fire at the Center, Graduated Heat Across the Cooktop

Choose no base only when a suitable non-combustible support or built-in surround has been professionally planned.

The low Euro base provides a freestanding sculptural support. Neither current variant includes the flat cooktop conversion kit.

Can I cook on this version?
Not as sold. This dedicated fire-pit product does not include a cooktop or center grill grate. A separately sold compatible conversion kit may add cooking functionality after fit is confirmed.
What is the difference between the variants?
No Base supplies the bowl without a pedestal for a properly planned installation. Low Euro Base includes a short sculptural support.
Will the finish change?
Yes. CORTEN steel intentionally develops a rust-toned protective patina outdoors.
