Chaos holds a full 48-inch square footprint to a low 14-inch height. The unusual proportion preserves sightlines, brings the flame close to seated eye level, and gives the feature the feel of landscape architecture.
Keeping four feet of width close to the ground changes the visual weight of the piece. Chaos appears integrated into the hardscape instead of sitting on top of it.

Chaos is hand-cast from glass fiber reinforced concrete in Denver, Colorado. The material gives the broad low vessel the look of solid stone while reducing mass compared with conventional solid concrete.
The Warming Trends Crossfire brass burner is adjustable by key valve and is designed to create a fuller flame pattern across the center of the square.
