Monessen Artisan See-Through 48 Vent-Free Gas FireplaceThe Monessen Artisan 48 See-Through creates a long, contemporary flame presentation with reflective fireglass. Its clean opening keeps attention on the fire rather than a heavy frame. Choose natural gas or propane to match the supply, then plan the surrounding finish and required clearances with your installer.
Connect the spaces around the fire
The double-sided view can connect adjoining spaces. An indoor/outdoor installation requires the approved outdoor kit and the manufacturer’s exact installation configuration; the base unit alone is not an outdoor fireplace.
Fuel & Compatibility
Choose the natural gas or liquid propane variant to match the installed supply. Fuel and ignition must be confirmed before ordering. Vent-free installation is subject to local requirements, room-size restrictions and the manufacturer’s instructions; a qualified installer must verify suitability.

Manufacturer warranty
The current Hearth & Home Technologies limited warranty provides 20 years of parts coverage and 3 years of labor for the gas firebox/heat exchanger. Other components have different coverage periods. Purchase, installation, maintenance and other conditions and exclusions apply.

How do I choose the fuel and control option?
Match the variant’s fuel to your gas supply and confirm its ignition/control requirements with your installer. Do not assume a field conversion is available.
What should I check before the wall or opening is built?
Confirm the exact model, framing or existing-opening dimensions, clearances, gas connection and all required finishing components against the installation manual.
