Give an existing fireplace a new flame
Monessen Solstice/VFI 33 Vent-Free Gas InsertThe Monessen Solstice 33 is a vent-free gas insert for a compatible existing fireplace opening. A Natural Blaze burner and included blower bring flame and warm-air circulation into the room. Select the correct fuel and ignition, then complete the installation with the required surround and interior components.

A separately purchased black surround covers the gap between the insert and the existing fireplace opening. Choose the surround size after measuring the opening and checking the installation manual; the insert’s nominal size is not a substitute for those measurements.
Fuel & Compatibility
Choose the natural gas or liquid propane variant to match the installed supply. Fuel and ignition must be confirmed before ordering. Vent-free installation is subject to local requirements, room-size restrictions and the manufacturer’s instructions; a qualified installer must verify suitability.

Manufacturer warranty
The current Hearth & Home Technologies limited warranty provides 20 years of parts coverage and 3 years of labor for the gas firebox/heat exchanger. Other components have different coverage periods. Purchase, installation, maintenance and other conditions and exclusions apply.
