The lightweight wooden peel gives you a broad, flat surface for sliding under a finished pizza and carrying it away from the hot cooking surface.
The flat wooden edge is designed to slip underneath the crust, while the broad surface supports the pie during the move from grill to table.
It is intentionally simple: lightweight, easy to handle and made to complement a dedicated pizza-stone setup.
