A Low, Architectural Centerpiece Built Around the Flame

Rhea pairs a broad circular form with a low 14-inch profile, creating a natural gathering point without blocking views across the patio. Choose a 60-inch or 72-inch diameter to suit the scale of your outdoor room.

  • Up to 320,000 BTU: Warming Trends Crossfire brass burner
  • 40-inch fire opening: a wide flame presentation visible from every side
  • Hand-cast GFRC: architectural concrete with individually applied character
  • Two fuel options: liquid propane variants are selectable online; contact us to confirm a natural gas build

Designed for Gathering

A Circle That Brings the Entire Seating Plan Together

Rhea is sized to do more than fill an empty space. Its round geometry creates an easy, balanced arrangement where guests can face the flame and one another from every direction.

The low silhouette keeps the fire visually connected to the seating area while preserving open sightlines. In daylight, the sculpted concrete reads as part of the landscape; after dark, the centered flame becomes the focus.

  • 10-inch sculpted lip adds visual weight around the opening
  • Round form works naturally with conversational seating
  • Residential or hospitality scale for generous patios, courtyards, and professionally planned outdoor spaces
Choose Your Size

60-Inch or 72-Inch

Both Rhea sizes share the same 14-inch height and 40-inch fire opening. Select the diameter that fits your patio proportions, seating depth, circulation path, required clearances, and delivery access.

60" 60" L × 60" W × 14" H

Large Residential Scale

A substantial centerpiece for generous patios and courtyards, with the signature Rhea presence in a more adaptable footprint.

72" 72" L × 72" W × 14" H

Expansive & Hospitality Scale

A stronger architectural footprint for estate-scale landscapes, broad seating plans, and hospitality environments.

Planning note: Map the complete vessel diameter along with burner clearances, furniture depth, circulation, gas routing, and the path from the delivery point to the final installation area before ordering.

Built for Outdoor Projects

Hand-Cast Concrete. Brass Burner Performance.

Each Rhea vessel is hand-cast from glass fiber reinforced concrete in Denver, Colorado. Subtle movement in color and texture is part of the material and makes each piece visually distinct.

At the center is a Warming Trends Crossfire brass burner, selected for a broad flame pattern and outdoor corrosion resistance. The included key valve allows the flame to be adjusted after a qualified professional completes the installation.

GFRC Vessel

Strong architectural material with less mass than conventional solid concrete construction.

Brass Burner

Crossfire burner rated by the manufacturer for output up to 320,000 BTU.

Complete Package

Burner, plate, valve, flex hose, lava rock, cover, and leveling feet are included.

Concrete Finishes

Four Tones for the Surrounding Architecture

Finish samples and screens can display color differently. Natural variation in hand-finished concrete is expected.

Birch

A warm light neutral for pale stone, limestone, and natural wood palettes.

Smoke

A balanced mid-grey suited to contemporary hardscapes.

Carbon

A deeper charcoal that gives the low circular form more visual weight.

Onyx

A near-black option for high-contrast modern installations.

Finish disclosure: Color, movement, texture, and small surface characteristics will vary from online images and physical samples. Small hairline lines may form during curing as moisture leaves the concrete; the manufacturer states these should not affect long-term stability and are not considered manufacturing damage.

Common Questions

Rhea Buying Guide

Which Rhea size should I choose?
The 60-inch model is substantial and generally easier to integrate into large residential patios. The 72-inch model creates a stronger architectural footprint for expansive landscapes and hospitality spaces. Map the full diameter, burner clearances, seating depth, circulation, gas route, and delivery path before deciding.
Can I order Rhea for natural gas?
The variants currently selectable on this page are listed for liquid propane. Studio Nisho also offers a natural gas build. Contact Smokeforges before ordering so the current configuration, pricing, and production estimate can be confirmed.
Will my existing gas line support the burner?
Available capacity depends on fuel type, pipe diameter, run length, pressure, regulator capacity, elevation, and other connected appliances. A qualified gas professional should calculate the available capacity before purchase.
What warranty applies?
Studio Nisho currently lists a one-year manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects on the vessel and a lifetime manufacturer warranty on the burner. Coverage, exclusions, and remedies remain subject to the manufacturer's current written terms, including its care and cover requirements.
How should I receive the freight shipment?
Inspect the crate before signing, note visible damage on the delivery receipt, photograph the shipment, and retain all packaging. Standard service is curbside unless another service is confirmed in writing.
