Named for the ancient Titaness associated with the passage of time, Rhea turns the circle into a lasting architectural statement. Its low, sculpted profile creates a generous place for flame while preserving clean sightlines across the patio, courtyard, or hospitality setting.
Choose a 60-inch or 72-inch diameter, select one of four hand-applied concrete finishes, and specify natural gas or liquid propane. At the center, a Warming Trends Crossfire brass burner delivers up to 320,000 BTU for a broad, adjustable flame presentation. Actual flame height and heat output depend on the selected fuel, gas pressure, supply-line sizing, installation, and weather conditions.
Two substantial footprints let Rhea anchor large residential patios, resort-style courtyards, and hospitality environments without changing its signature round form.
The low height keeps the fire visually connected to the seating area and helps preserve open views through the landscape.
A Warming Trends Crossfire brass burner creates a full central flame pattern with adjustable output through the included key valve.
The broad circular ledge gives the vessel visual weight and creates a deliberate transition between the flame opening and the surrounding space.
Each vessel is hand-cast from glass fiber reinforced concrete and finished individually, so subtle variations in tone and texture are expected.
Order the configuration that matches the planned fuel source. Final connection and supply-line sizing should be completed by a qualified gas professional.
Rhea is not a compact accessory placed beside the furniture. Its diameter, low profile, and centered flame are designed to help define the seating plan itself.
The simple circular geometry works with modern, transitional, and hospitality landscapes without competing with surrounding materials.
A round fire feature supports a balanced seating arrangement, allowing guests to face the flame and one another from multiple directions.
The 60-inch and 72-inch formats suit expansive residential spaces as well as professionally designed gathering areas.
Rhea is handcrafted from glass fiber reinforced concrete, commonly called GFRC. Alkali-resistant glass fibers are embedded throughout the concrete matrix to reinforce the vessel while allowing the large form to remain more manageable than comparable solid concrete construction.
Birch, Smoke, Carbon, and Onyx are applied by hand. Because concrete is a natural, artisan-finished material, the completed vessel may not match a sample image exactly. Minor variations in color and texture are normal, and small hairline cracks can develop during curing as moisture leaves the concrete. Studio Nisho states that these hairline characteristics should not affect long-term stability and are not considered manufacturing damage.
The included Crossfire burner is made from brass and paired with an aluminum burner plate, key valve, flex hose, and black rolled lava rock. The result is a complete gas fire feature prepared for professional connection at the installation site.
Both sizes share the same low 14-inch height and circular design. Choose based on the scale of the patio, seating layout, required clearances, access path, and visual proportion of the surrounding architecture.
A substantial centerpiece for generous patios and courtyards. The 60-inch format delivers Rhea's sculptural presence while requiring less overall floor area than the 72-inch version.
The largest Rhea option is intended for broad seating plans, estate-scale landscapes, and commercial hospitality environments where a stronger architectural footprint is appropriate.
Space-planning note: overall vessel dimensions are only one part of the layout. Your designer or installer should also account for the required burner clearances, non-combustible surfaces, circulation space, gas routing, and delivery access before ordering.
A warm, light neutral for limestone, pale pavers, and natural wood palettes.
A balanced mid-grey suited to a wide range of contemporary hardscapes.
A deeper charcoal finish that gives the low circular form added visual weight.
A near-black option for high-contrast modern and hospitality installations.
Finish disclosure: every Rhea vessel is hand-finished. Color, movement, texture, and small surface characteristics will vary from online images and physical samples.
Select the fuel type that matches the installation plan. A 320,000 BTU appliance requires an appropriately sized gas supply, regulator, and piping system. A qualified gas professional should verify available pressure and capacity before the order is finalized.

Performance note: 320,000 BTU is the maximum manufacturer-listed burner rating. Actual operating performance depends on fuel type, inlet pressure, supply capacity, installation, burner adjustment, elevation, and outdoor conditions.
Rhea is supplied as a coordinated fire-feature package and ships securely crated by freight for professional placement and connection.
Made-to-order and final sale: Studio Nisho begins production after the order is accepted. The standard manufacturer estimate is approximately 6–8 weeks before transit, but timing can change based on production volume, finish, configuration, and carrier scheduling. Because the item is made to order, Smokeforges treats Rhea purchases as final sale. Please verify size, finish, fuel type, delivery access, and installation requirements before placing the order.
Place Rhea on a stable, level, non-combustible surface capable of supporting the vessel, burner media, and installation activity. Confirm local requirements for patios, decks, rooftops, covered areas, and commercial spaces before ordering.
The published Warming Trends diagram calls for 120 inches of vertical clearance from the burner to combustible materials and 36 inches of horizontal clearance between the burner edge and combustible materials. It also specifies 18 square inches of venting on each of two opposing sides, for 36 square inches total. The final installation must follow the applicable manual, local code, and the requirements of the authority having jurisdiction.
A licensed or otherwise qualified gas professional should confirm fuel type, pressure, regulator requirements, pipe sizing, and gas-stub placement. The available supply must be capable of supporting the selected configuration; otherwise, the burner may not reach its rated output.
Rhea qualifies for free standard LTL freight shipping to eligible contiguous U.S. addresses under the Smokeforges shipping policy. Standard service is curbside unless a different service is confirmed in writing. Remote-area, limited-access, storage, redelivery, inside-delivery, or other special-service charges may apply.
Inspect the crate before signing. Note visible damage on the delivery receipt, photograph the shipment, keep all packaging, and contact Smokeforges promptly if damage is found. Because the vessel is heavy, arrange appropriate labor and equipment to move it safely from the curb to the installation location.
Choose based on the complete outdoor-room plan rather than the vessel alone. The 60-inch model is substantial and generally easier to integrate into large residential patios. The 72-inch model creates a stronger architectural footprint for expansive landscapes and hospitality settings. Before ordering, map the actual diameter, burner clearances, seating depth, circulation, gas route, and delivery path.
Studio Nisho describes Rhea with a generous 10-inch sculpted lip and a 40-inch fire opening. Because the product is offered in two overall diameters, request the current drawing for the exact selected configuration before finalizing hardscape, gas-stub, cover, or furniture dimensions.
It may or may not. Available BTU capacity depends on fuel type, pipe diameter, run length, pressure, regulator capacity, elevation, and other appliances connected to the system. Have a qualified gas professional calculate the available capacity before ordering. Do not assume an existing patio stub can support full output.
Yes. Rhea can be ordered for liquid propane or natural gas. The ordered burner configuration must match the fuel source. For propane, the installer should determine the required tank size, regulator, and vaporization capacity; a typical grill-cylinder setup may not be suitable for operation at the burner's maximum rating.
Only after project-specific review. The structure must support the fire feature and installation loads, the surface and surrounding materials must comply with applicable requirements, and all clearances, ventilation, fuel, access, and local-code conditions must be satisfied. Ask the project architect, engineer, contractor, and local authority to approve the installation plan before ordering.
Studio Nisho lists a standard made-to-order lead-time estimate of approximately 6–8 weeks, followed by transit. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date. Production volume, finish, configuration, weather, carrier availability, and delivery location can affect the schedule.
Rhea is a made-to-order final-sale product. Order changes or cancellations are not guaranteed once production has begun and may be unavailable or subject to manufacturer costs. Review the current Smokeforges cancellation and return policies before purchase, and contact us before ordering if any specification is uncertain.
Yes. Studio Nisho explains that minor variations in concrete color and texture are natural. Small hairline cracks may also form during curing as moisture escapes. According to the manufacturer, these characteristics should not affect long-term stability and are not considered a faulty or damaged product.
Studio Nisho currently lists a one-year manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects on the vessel and a lifetime manufacturer warranty on the burner. The manufacturer states that Nisho features must be covered when not in use for warranty coverage to apply. Warranty approval, exclusions, and remedies remain subject to the current written manufacturer terms.
Confirm the size, finish, natural-gas or propane configuration, available gas capacity, installation surface, required clearances, local-code requirements, delivery access, unloading plan, final placement method, production estimate, and final-sale terms. Smokeforges can help review the product configuration, but the licensed installer and local authority are responsible for approving the site-specific installation.
