The Dual Function E5030 gives you separate gas and charcoal cooking chambers, two stainless steel gas burners and 870 sq. in. of total cooking space, with the option to add a compatible Side Fire Box when you want to expand into offset smoking.
The E5030 keeps the two fuel systems in separate cooking chambers so you can choose the method that fits the meal instead of committing your patio to two full-size grills.
Char-Griller lists the E5030 as Side Fire Box compatible. The Side Fire Box is sold separately and attaches to the charcoal side to create an offset-style smoking configuration.
This is an optional upgrade—not an included component—so the product page keeps that distinction clear.
The grill includes a side shelf with utensil hooks, wheels for repositioning when cool, porcelain-coated cast-iron cooking grates and an EasyDump ash pan on the charcoal side.
For dual-fuel grills, Char-Griller publishes 5-year rust-through and burn-through coverage on the charcoal grill hood and bottom, gas grill hood top half and main burner tubes. The ash pan, gas grill body bottom, side burner and other defective parts are listed at 1 year, subject to registration, proof of purchase, exclusions and the manufacturer’s full warranty terms.
