Start with fewer steps

Ignite the charcoal from the grill.

The built-in Automatic Fire Starter uses an integrated heating element to begin the fire. Set the target on the Kontrol Board and the digital fan manages airflow as the grill approaches and maintains the selected temperature.

Stay connected to the cook

Adjust, monitor and return to the grill when it matters.

Use the Kontrol Board or Kamado Joe app to set temperature and time, follow the included meat probe, review session graphing and receive alerts. The controller supports up to three meat probes; additional probes are sold separately.

Accessory compatibility and built-in planning
  • Compatible with most size-matched Big Joe accessories, including the Big Joe JoeTisserie, DoJoe and compatible cooking surfaces; accessories are sold separately.
  • The Big Joe charcoal basket is not compatible with the Big Joe Konnected Joe.
  • Need a smaller footprint? Compare the 18-inch Konnected Joe with 250 square inches of cooking space.
  • The cart can be removed for a properly planned outdoor-kitchen installation.
  • A built-in installation requires noncombustible construction, rear access to the power switch, front access to the Kontrol Board and ash drawer, and a 16.5-inch ventilation opening beneath the grill.
  • Kamado Joe ceramic feet are not compatible and do not replace the required ventilation opening.
