Choose 34 or 46 inches of forged-steel reach
Ohio Flame's Fire Poker is hand-forged by an Ohio blacksmith in a one-piece design. The black-finish versions currently carried by Smokeforges use 1/2-inch American steel and are available in 34- and 46-inch lengths.
- 34-inch or 46-inch length
- 1/2-inch American steel
- Black high-heat-resistant finish
- Approximately 10 lb per tool
- 5-year manufacturer warranty
34 inch vs. 46 inch
34-inch poker
Shorter overall reach for buyers who want a substantial fire tool without adding an extra foot of length around a standard backyard fire-pit setup.
46-inch poker
Adds 12 inches of reach when the fire area is larger or the user prefers more distance between their hands and the working end of the tool.
Ohio Flame warns that these heavy-duty campfire tools weigh about 10 pounds each. Choose a size you can comfortably control while also accounting for the weight of the wood being repositioned.
For pushing, separating and repositioning wood
A poker is useful when you need leverage to move a log, open space between burning pieces or reposition coals without using a short improvised object near the fire.
If you need to grip and lift logs rather than push them, pair the poker with a dedicated set of campfire tongs instead of using the poker as a substitute for a grasping tool.
Five-year Ohio Flame coverage
Ohio Flame currently backs the Fire Poker with a 5-year manufacturer warranty. The manufacturer's current written warranty controls coverage, exclusions and claim requirements.
