Simple, direct Argentine grilling
The BBQ18SS is Tagwood's straightforward gaucho grill: a stainless steel body on casters, a firebrick-lined cooking bed, a brasero and a lid, with a main grate that sets at two fixed heights. Every part that touches food is 304 stainless steel. 556 sq. in. of cooking area.
01 · Main grate and firebricks
Two heights, no mechanism to fuss with
The 32.25" x 17.25" main grate sits in one of two fixed positions, and you move it with the included lifting hooks: low for searing, higher for gentler cooking. Firebricks lining the base spread the heat evenly and protect the body.
02 · Brasero and add-ons
Build the grill around how you cook
Wood or charcoal lights quickly in the brasero at the end of the grill, away from the food. Add the height-adjustable secondary grate above it (sold separately) for warming or slow cooking while you grill below, or choose an accessory package for more surfaces.
Accessory package options
The combination packages bundle these same pieces. The secondary grate above the firebox is sold separately.
03 · Lid and front drawer
Easy to tend, easy to close up
The front drawer slides out so you can reach the fire bed without lifting the grate, and the lid closes over the cooking area once you are done.
04 · Cart and casters
Compact and easy to place
At 267 lb on heavy-duty casters, the BBQ18SS moves easily around a deck or patio. A slatted lower shelf keeps firewood and tools close, and the optional side table adds a prep surface at the end.
