This large-format round grate mounts above the main cooking surface to create an elevated secondary zone where finished items can rest and hold temperature while remaining dishes continue cooking on the primary grate below.

The BBQ99SS is the larger of the two warming roof options Tagwood offers — sized to match the wider cooking platform of the BBQ23SS and BBQ25SS XL grills (the smaller BBQ98SS fits the BBQ09SS). Its fixed overhead position places food further from the direct heat source, creating a lower-temperature holding area that is useful when managing multiple proteins, sides, or bread simultaneously during a single cook session.

The grate can also serve as an additional cooking surface for items that benefit from gentler, indirect heat — such as warming tortillas, toasting bread, or finishing vegetables — while the main grate handles higher-heat tasks directly over the coals.
