The circular 42-inch footprint gives the fire enough visual scale to anchor lounge seating without requiring a tall body. Orbit is a good fit when the surrounding hardscape is already modern, minimal and material-driven.
The manufacturer identifies Orbit as a smokeless fire pit. Startup, damp wood and operating conditions can still produce smoke. Seasoned wood and a properly established fire help the secondary-airflow design work as intended.
