The Liberty ships as a wood-burning fire pit. Ohio Flame notes that the 1-inch Rain Drain may also be used as a route for a gas supply pipe when adding a separately sourced compatible burner. Gas conversion components are not included and installation should be completed by a qualified professional under local codes.
